We are pleased to announce that FORU CHEMTECH has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Hebi Ruida Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. (“Hebi RUIDA”) for the marketing and further development of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Under the agreement, FORU CHEMTECH will serve as Hebi RUIDA’s global marketing partner, initially focusing on the European and Latin-American markets. Leveraging our extensive network and deep experience in the solvents industry, the FORU CHEMTECH team will work to deliver best-in-class customer service and to advance technical application development for DMSO users worldwide.

DMSO is a versatile, high-performance solvent widely used in coatings, polymer processing, industrial and electronic-component cleaning (e.g., photoresist stripping), organic synthesis, cell cryopreservation, and as a co-solvent in pharmaceutical and agrochemical formulations. Thanks to its favourable toxicological profile, DMSO shows strong potential to replace more hazardous solvents such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) and dimethylacetamide (DMAC), which are facing increasingly stringent regulations.

Founded in 2012, Hebi RUIDA is a leading producer of rubber accelerators (MBT, MBTS, CBS, TBBS) with an annual capacity of 50,000 t. In October 2025 the company commissioned a 10,000 t/a DMSO unit that recovers H₂S from accelerator-production off-gas, thereby reducing overall energy consumption and optimizing operating costs.
